Missions
| Bethlehem Presbyterian Church has a heart for mission! The Church
reaches outside its doors to serve those in our community, across
the county, and around the world. Missions is just one of the many
ways we can honor God and be faithful to His Great Commission: |
 |
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go
and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father,
the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything
I have
commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of
the age"
- Matthew 28:18-20
Mission outreach at our Church is a total congregational commitment
involving many groups and individuals of all ages. The Missions
Commission serves the Church by coordinating the various mission
programs and activities, overseeing earmarked funds for mission
outreach, and educating the Church about missions in general.
The Missions Commission provides benevolence disbursements to the
following local groups:
- Princeton Seminary Scholarship Fund
- Clinton First Aid & Rescue Squad
- Clinton Fire Department
- HMC Chaplaincy Fund
- Hunterdon Drug Awareness Program
- Habitat for Humanity
- Camp Johnsonburg
- Hunterdon Helpline
- Hunterdon Hospice
- Hunterdon Special Olympics
- Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Hunterdon County
- Youth Mission Trips
- Grow-a-Row
- Hunterdon Group Home
- Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN)
